Watercolors have been the media of choice for Gail Bannock ever since she first tried them many years ago. She has painted thousands of paintings, participated in many juried art shows, solo and group art exhibits, art fairs and has been selected for numerous awards.

As a fly angler and a lover of the outdoors Gail loves painting images that express her joy from fishing as well as landscapes, seascapes and local floral scenes dominate her pieces. Although she does much of her painting from her own photographs, she is an active plein air painter also seeking her gardens and favorite local areas as a constant source of inspiration.

Gail is active on the board of directors at Southington Arts and Crafts Association and is also a member of several area art associations. She has been teaching watercolor painting for over fifteen years through both Southington Arts and Crafts Association and the Southington Adult Education program.

She lives and paints as often as possible in her Southington home studio.
